February High-Table Dinner – Gender Equality in Hong Kong
2019-02-19
As a prelude to the International Women’s Day in March, the February High-Table Dinner featured Ms. Fiona Nott, CEO of The Women’s Foundation. The dinner was filled with discussions in great depth and breadth on the progress and challenges on gender equality in Hong Kong and other related issues.
Words from participating JC Scholars
It was a truly inspiring and enjoyable High-Table Dinner. As an individual who holds minority rights and issues such as gender equality very dearly, I really appreciated Fiona’s perspective and experience on these issues in Hong Kong, and the great work The Women’s Foundation has been doing to solve this problem throughout the years.
The conversation has inspired me to explore the role men can (and should) play in turning the situation of gender equality around.
I consider myself a feminist and have a strong passion to fight for the rights for girls and women. I am grateful for the sharing by Fiona, which unveiled for me new perspectives on equality and diversity between genders.
