Nurturing Top Talent To Become Compassionate and Socially-Minded Leaders
The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships
Established in 1998, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships are dedicated to nurturing compassionate and socially-minded leaders for the betterment of Hong Kong. Over the past 27 years, the Scholarships have supported more than 1,200 outstanding young people in pursuing their academic and professional aspirations.
The Scholarships support outstanding students across diverse backgrounds: local, Chinese Mainland, and international undergraduate students in Hong Kong; students with special educational needs; vocational education students; and exceptional young artists pursuing professional studies in music and dance at world-renowned institutions outside Hong Kong.
In addition, the Scholarships enable exceptional Hong Kong graduate students to pursue Master's and Doctoral degrees at leading universities worldwide, such as Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford.
Through the Institute of Philanthropy, Graduate Scholarships at Peking University and Tsinghua University are offered to Hong Kong students pursuing Master’s or Doctoral degrees in Chinese Mainland.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club Chairman's Scholarship
This Scholarship is awarded to students with exceptional academic achievement to pursue undergraduate studies in Hong Kong. It is open to eligible applicants from Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and other countries and regions. Students apply before entering university, typically in their final year of secondary school. Students currently studying in secondary schools in Hong Kong should apply through principal nomination..
